The partnership between Janneniska and Destia began when Destia’s Energy network unit had the need to rent high-quality truck-mounted aerial platforms. To properly maintain and service high-altitude equipment you have to have functional and reliable tools.
In the summer of 2018 Janneniska got an interesting request for a broad lifting project from their partner ISS Palvelut Oy. ISS had an upcoming project where the ad displays in central Helsinki’s bus and tram stops were being updated to modern JCDecaux LCD ad screens, which enable multiple digita lad streams compared to the current static ads.

In this article we present a case story, which combines challenging terrain, efficient planning and execution, and a satisfied customer. The worksite was four highrises under renovation, where melting cables were being installed in the eaves on the ninth floor. Despite the challenging terrain the work was completed in record time and with great results. The work was performed from start to finish with the easy-to-use, B-class license JN27 aerial platform.
