A water tower being reparated from an aerial platform for the first time in Finland

For the first time in Finland the reparation of a water tower is being done from an aerial platform. The work is going on at the moment in Kauhava. The old surface- and special structures will be demolished until the cement skeleton and these will be replaced with new ones. The assembler works in co-operation with the driver of the hydraulic platform vehicle, who will help during all the stages of the operation. This method ensures that the total costs of the operation will be low due to the low staff costs. The duration of the work has been estimated to be 2-3 months.
